The Greystone Cipher - What's Really Inside?

BookWorm87 [04/26/98]

I’m not convinced the Greystone Ledger is even real. Everyone keeps saying it’s got “coordinates” and all this cryptic stuff, but I’ve asked around, and nobody’s ever seen it. If it was really that important, wouldn’t someone have found it by now? Probably just a bunch of old folklore to keep us guessing.

No way. The Ledger is real. My aunt used to work at the library in the 70s, and she said it was there... for a while. Then one day, just gone. She swore it was a government project, something bigger than the town realized. It’s not just about coordinates. There’s a map inside that no one’s been able to fully decode.

I’ve been hearing whispers about the Ledger for years. A guy I met claimed his grandfather used to take night shifts at the library. Said he saw people in the dead of night, wearing dark clothes, sneaking around looking for the book. Maybe they never found it... Maybe it’s hiding in plain sight.

Spooky....

Too obvious to fill it with government secrets. I bet it's just a key to some old perv's stash lol

All this talk of “figures in soot-covered rags” sounds like someone watched too many horror films. I think this whole thing is just a good story. Let’s be honest. Half the time, I think the “mysterious” stuff around Clearwater is just people getting worked up over nothing.
